A multinational nonprofit using esports to create opportunities, build community, and make inclusion real. I joined in 2003 and helped expand it to Macau in 2016.
Most esports teams are just a name and a Discord. Tribesbase gives them a career record they can claim, tools to run the team, and sponsorships a brand can actually buy. Coming soon.

Co-founded Evoloop to create and operate the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival. An award-winning celebration of diversity in gaming, hosted 18 times across 15 countries.
Real places, new ways to be there. Digital twins of real destinations for immersive tourism and virtual events. Our “Lisbon xtend3D” twin was featured at the Portugal Pavilion, Expo 2025 Osaka. The idea goes back to Virtualmente, in 2008.
Entrepreneurial by nature. Curious by default. A gamer at heart.
From Macau and Lisbon, to Dubai. Different cultures, one drive: to build things that bring people together.
I used to compete in FPS games in the early 2000s. I’ve been with Grow uP Esports since 2003, back when it was called Underworld Preachers.
Over 20 years in esports have shown me something powerful: play brings people together, across backgrounds, borders, and expectations.
That’s what keeps me building: communities, events, and worlds that give more people a way in. As AI takes on more of the work, places where people actually meet matter more, not less.
I’m interested in what technology makes possible. I care about who gets to be part of it.
Before the ventures and the stages, there was a kid who wanted to know what else a computer could do.
A journey through creative arts, music, and gaming that shaped me into a true generalist.

The first console.
SEGA Mega Drive I. Beyond the GameBoy, it opened up a new world of console gaming. A small beginning for a curiosity about games that stayed with me — and where I became a Bomberman pro.

A world of my own.
My very own Compaq Presario all-in-one. A computer that “talked” to me because it had speakers instead of just MIDI sounds. Gave me a little more independence, and a lot more possibility.

Hello, world wide web.
Built my first website in Macromedia Flash. Suddenly, something made in my room could be seen anywhere.

Got into the rap game.
Started writing lyrics and recording my own songs. Music has always been my way of looking inward and growing. Time and again, it has led me to greater awareness. I've recorded as kilOmbo and, more recently, as The Missing Pixel.

Real places. Virtual possibilities.
Started Virtualmente: replicating real-life locations as digital twins. The company won UTL’s innovation and creativity contest, bringing together web technology, creative design, online marketing, and IT research and development. The idea never left: it lives on in xtend3D.
Ideas are better out loud
On stage, in a room, or in a conversation. New perspectives start when we share them.
